Ole Miss began wearing the dark navy helmets with a red Colonel Reb in 1975. From 75-79 they had a gray mask. They changed to a red mask from 1980-82 in what, IMO, was the best looking helmet in college football history. The PC police came out in 1983, and Colonel Reb was replaced with the script Ole Miss. Billy Brewer was hired the same year and brought back the powder blues of the Vaught Era and also Brewer's playing days. A gray facemask was also added. When Tommy T was hired the current dark navy helmet and mask with the script Ole Miss was created. Bring back Colonel Reb on the helmets.

They're selling bongs in the powder blue around campus. Each players got one for the bowl trip with their baggy of spice.

Can't remember exactly, but last time with that helmet I thought the helmet looked better than the uniform that went with it. Can't wait to see what this new combo looks like in real life. That top's shade of red just looks perfect.

Best uni in the league. ....when they wear the traditional one. Leave the blue pants at home. Keep the powder blue helmets.

that looks as close to powder blue as it does to navy to me. in other words, it's basically royal blue.
