It was a description. No one cares about the color, only helps the people trying to find him.

Whah fricking whah. You and that same f-ing dumass crybaby dawg fan bring-up the same imaginary bullshite at least once or twice a month. Grow up and get over it you two fricking babies before someone evokes tree poisoners or the g-damn horrible reputation UGA fans have earned throughout the league over the decades.

Thread is about someone beat to death in case you two fricking idiots do not know or understand the difference.

Sheeesh. Let that be the last time I see you two pussies whining about your two rare experiences at Billy Brice after taking it up the arse dry ... bitches. A man should be expected to only tolerate so much crying from you whiny types and you two have far exceeded your allowed quota.

In the meantime prayers for the family of the Ole Miss fan in Texas. It's horrible, terrible, stuff ... nothing normal or comparable about it.

Pretty much this, prayers sent.

Supposedly happened late Friday night. I don't know any more details than what I've read on here. One of my buddies said the suspect has been caught, but I have no link so I didn't care to start a thread saying it

Someone posted a news story above about it. No offense to anyone but I have seen fights at LSU games several times and it was honestly between LSU fans. Not excusing the violence but it sounded like a punch was thrown and he fell and hit his head which could have happened to anyone of us that has been in a fight. It's just an unlucky punch for both individuals. Hate it for the kid though and hope he recovers. Point is I don't hunk he was beaten.

I don't understand why people are trying to differentiate between a "beating" and a punch which almost killed a guy. When you jump out of a car and assault someone so fiercely that they fall down, you're risking some serious criminal repercussions.

Not being a horse butt but I assume you've never been in a fight then.

You're correct in that I've never committed assault and battery. I'm crazy like that.

Not being an arse, but I'll assume you're well south of 30 or that you've never really grown up. When you grow up, you begin to understand that you don't assault people because really bad stuff can happen. You can get shot. You can die. Or you can seriously injure or kill someone. But keep it real, am I right?

Let me first say that I have admonished all of the pathetic barbs and jokes in this thread as well as the referendums on entire fanbases. With that said, there is a difference between beating someone to near death and hitting someone who, subsequently, falls and hits their head.

I will agree, though, that even if the head trauma was an unfortunate result of a minor fistfight, it should give pause to those who "don't take sht from anyone" and that you should avoid physical altercations to every degree you reasonably can.

No I am 39 and haven't fought in years. I am not saying to fight over a game is ok but what I am saying is that when I was younger than 21 which is the age I married my wife I was in plenty of fights. I was lucky that one I didn't hit someone and they fell and just happen to hit their head the wrong way and two that I wasn't hit and fell and hit my head the wrong way. You were either never in a fight or are too selfrighteous to understand that the punch may have been intentional but the idea that he was beaten with the intention of injuring the guy badly. We don't even know the whole story. If you had been in a fight before you wouldn't be so judgmental about what was likely an accident. We're you this upset when Hill hit someone or because he was a football player it was ok?

I hope the kid recovers. However, the OP really needs to be edited with some of the new info. The OP still shows RIP to the guy beat up.

So it was a Hispanic male in his 20's (shocked) in a silver Honda (shocked again......no, really, I fully expected the vehicle to be a Tahoe)

It happened at 2:30 in the morning. If you knew anything about that intersection, you'd know at time of night, it's a parking lot with drunks staggering to their cars, and 7th is a one way eastbound to I-35.....bumper to bumper.

Knowing this, and that the victim was from out of town, likely drunk, none of this surprises me. Likely the suspect has never stepped foot on a college campus, nor ever been to a game in DKR. He was probably wearing a Ricky Williams jersey handed down to him as a family heirloom at the time. The number of UT fans that are Hispanic males with no actual ties to the university is staggering. Unfortunately this is some poor kid who got mixed up with a hothead, add in a little alcohol, and shite went bad.

Point is-as much as I loathe UT and their fans, this really isn't a reflection of Austin, nor the students.

Surgery was 30 hours ago? It hasn't been 24 hours since the game ended, are we sure this is a legit update?
