You don't know Texas fans very well.

It doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

ETA- when I was a kid, my cousin was a Texas frat boy, and at family vacations in Destin, he always had his frat boy friends with him, literally all they did was walk around looking for fights with people, got in fights every night.

One of my friends, only 14 years old at the time, almost got his arse kicked by one of them, 22 or 23 years old, on the beach in front of Jetty East, drunk, about to literally murder a 14 year old boy over nothing.

Texas students and fans are the worst in the country, worse than Florida.

It's funny you mention Destin because I grew up going to Seascape Resort and ironically, at the age of 14, my friend and I were asked to play a pick up basketball game by a group of 3 Texas "frat boys" in a jeep. It was at the basketball court by the tennis wall for anyone familiar with Seascape in Destin. My 13 year old best friend and I actually beat the Texas students in a pick up basketball game. Fortunately for us they didn't try to kick our a## afterwards.

Has there been any indication that this had anything to do with the OM/TX game? Still nothing on the innerwebs about this
So I'll take that as a no.

Wow that's crazy I Grew up going to Seascape as well. We still go all the time and my parents got their place in '86. We are right near the pool closest to the Whales Tail.

Anyone pretending that this is unique to a single fan base isn't being honest at all. Youth, testosterone, & aggression make a dangerous cocktail, no matter what colors you're wearing. In fact, you can go to a bar district in any town or city, whether there's a college there or not, and see drunk people getting into fights over mindblowingly stupid shite.

as true as it gets. of course, the secr calls all opposing teams that do this tpos.
