I am sure it means a lot to the 40+ segment of Ole Miss fans.

Why are MSU fans so butthurt about Ole Miss honoring a player who died playing here?

I wouldn't say I am butthurt about it. It's a nice memorial that I think the middle aged+ crowd of Ole Miss fans like a lot.

Ok. I assumed the people it had an effect on were the people that saw it. It happened in 1989 or so. I was 6 then so I don't really have any recollection/feelings about it.

Yeah, none of us are 40.

However, we're aware of the legacy of Chucky. Go watch "It's Time" and then try and come back with your juvenile bullshite.

I was just rustling some jimmies. I think it's awesome. Gotta respect it, similar to the whole thing we did for Nick Bell.

Wish they were wearing baby blues though.

This isn't the place for that. Would be like me cracking a joke about Nick Bell or Dak's mom.

Certain things just shouldn't be joked about.

I disagree...but it's an interesting topic.

Rustling jimmies in the context of a kids death. Really classy and not surprised coming from a "stomper". Keep up the classy MSU.

So you wouldn't get pissed off if someone made fun of State honoring Nick Bell?

Well obviously, I wouldn't say we were trying to dress it up, that was the evident intent.

No I wouldn't be angry about it. I am sure someone could come up with a funny joke about it.

For example, I have heard funny Anne Frank jokes/bits.

No good joke is appropriate. No topic is off limits.

Just confused why a number can be worn but not a cross? Good luck explaining that one.

I'm 31...I was at the game when I was six and remember it like it was yesterday. It was one of the eeriest moments of my life. Besides that day, the only other memory of going to games when I was young was playing football on the grassy hill in the north end zone.

Just different tastes I guess. I don't think tragedies such as Chucky Mullins and Nick bell should ever be joked about.
