Haven't had a drop. Not following the analogy because I am not sure ole miss or vandy stadiums could actually seat 75000 fans. Pretty sure no one knew the severity of the injury as it occurred on the field. Fans now would boo the team for stalling. Pretty lame as usual Bears. If the university wanted to do something to really honor Mullins, they would start a pledge fund to help his family move out of Mississippi.

Sorry to be harsh in these posts, but honoring Mullins really is not seen as the noble gesture Ole Miss folks see it as in other places around the SEC. Its just something that makes the rest of the SEC uncomfortable in general.

If you'll go back and read, you'll see that I said "75,000 people" referring to the car wreck Lutz was in that led to his death. As in, had a decent crowd from Jordan-Hare (75k or so--I know it holds 80+) witnessed one of their own get hurt like OM did then it would be more relatable to that poster.
As far as the rest of your troll, I'll let someone from another fan base take that one. I hope your day is shitty and you witness a traumatic event that haunts your dreams for a lifetime.

It was retired for a few years but we've gone back to awarding it to a player each year.
Currently 6th year senior MLB DT Shackelford is wearing it.

Yeah I was glad when they brought the jersey back. While it was retired, the honoree wore a #38 patch on his jersey. Still cool, but getting the jersey number is huge for these kids.
I think some fans might underestimate what Chucky still means to the kids on the team today. They're told the story from the start of their career and earning his number is a huge honor for them. They show up on campus vying to earn it as soon as possible.
Their entrance ritual also involves every team member touching the bust of Chucky in our entrance tunnel as they take the field.
The story of Chucky and his courage and positivity in the face of a horrible injury is a pivotal part of not only our athletics at OM but the student body as a whole.
