The arena is very similar to Auburn's. Looks good. The North Endzone looks really good. Hope all this really happens.

And this means what to OM fans? It's "Their State"

If we get our way, our 2 stadiums will soon be expanded to cover the entire state. Employment will soar.

So, looking at that picture, what happens to the Starnes Center and FedEx Academic Center?

Looks great to me. It will take a while, but in the end, it can only be a good thing to everyone involved. Both of these things really needed to be done and will really help. About time we "plan" to do something right...

Very good interviews with Boone and Nutt from a Memphis reporter about the campaign, future in athletics and billboards

Answers a lot of questions asked in this thread.

Also in OM news the writer of "True Blood" just joined our English department. Looks like we might have some vampires on the square. Very good "Are You Ready" opportunities for Halloween games

Mike Thompson just told me it's huge "plaza" facing the grove not "plasma". Our new beat writer messed that up. And my guess for who the statue is of in front of the new arena is Tadd Smith. We got to do something in his rememberence since we're tearing down his colliseum.

Let's make that circle a parking lot to remember him. We are taking a bunch of parking away to build that new arena.

"Understand, Ole Miss doesn't sell out every game as it is. Capacity of Vaught-Hemingway is 60,580. Last year, Ole Miss averaged 55,898. The year before, it was 55,767. When completed, the expansion will boost stadium capacity over 70,000."
