Sorry, I didn't make that clear. It wasn't the players' discipline I was talking about.....

Oh do tell? Was he anything like Curley Hallman was at LSU? Chasing after cheerleaders?

Houston has been a better football program for awhile now.

That's 99% due to Holgorsen and Keenum. Watch what happens after Keenum graduates.

Sumlin is a good coach but I seriously doubt he leaves Houston anytime soon.

He does well at Ole Miss and he'll get much more publicity and post-season accolades than at Houston. Still a stepping stone, but a higher one than Houston.

If that stone is in quicksand. Doing well at a smaller school is much easier than coming into the worst team in the strongest conference.

I figure A&M will be going after Sumlin here pretty soon.

He has already coached there as an OC in RC Slocum's last year and had quite a bit of success.

Exactly. I want to see what Sumlin can do after they graduate before I jump on his bandwagon. Without Keenum last year, he went what? 5-7 or something like that.

Are they moving the school out of Mississippi?

Just so we are clear here. You are stating that there are no racist rednecks in Alabama or Louisiana?

Well kiss my arse!

Ole Miss got tall order to fill if they stay in SEC.

You say this like we are going to get kicked out or leave.

A) Charter members cannot be kicked out no matter how terrible they are.
B) We aren't leaving the best conference in the country to join another. It would be fricking stupid.

to be fair, he was down to his 3rd string freshman QB by the end of their 3rd game last year.

So. The question is....what can he do without Briles' players and without Keenum. That is the big mystery with him. I'm not ready to take a chance on that. I think this search committee needs to be real smart in who they hire. Can't afford another mistake of a hire. Especially with Sumlin. Cause if he was to come in and have 3 or 4 losing seasons, we are then in some real deep shite.
