Wait, so you're saying a college football player isn't really doing his part as a student?!!!

It'll only matter if Kimdeechee can't make it to a bowl game or such because he hasn't been in class since 2013.

Well, it says on the award site that it gives equal weight to Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity. I assume Ole Miss believes he isn't the best rep of all of these. No big deal.

This particular award has subjective criteria, and due to student-athlete privacy concerns, I am not able to share the specifics of the decision-making process. In addition, I am not allowed to discuss a student-athlete's eligibility, but I can confirm Robert is not at risk."

Bucky and the Bears are already game planning for next year. They will be losing about 15 starters and a million stars.

Still not a real smart move by the administration to publicly admit to undermining one of its players for an award. IMO, no response at all would have been much better.

I can't believe there were 4 wasted pages on this. The award includes grades and Community Service which he has none. Why is he up for every other award? the hate is pathetic

All foreign trained physicians who have not gone through an US based residency program are stuck in the same situation. I know a Physician that completed his neurosurgery training overseas and is now having to go back through a 7 year US program in order to practice in the USA.

Its odd that state fans know what Dr. Nkemdiche can and cannot do. They are the best source of OM insider information.
