It wasn't even 400. I was walking to my car across the grove when all this happened. It was like 40 people and most were just looking at these few dudes like "...seriously?" But some bitch puts on twitter that it's a "riot" and people lose their god damn minds.

The sources for that story were twitter and an article from a student newspaper (and a bad one at that). But we all know a good "there goes Mississippi being racist again" story will generate clicks from the general public. I'll be shocked if this statue "story" isn't picked up by the AP.

All these attempts to deflect the story as an isolated incident makes me want to puke for a day. It's not an isolated incident for the Oxford campus. Many other incidents like the one at Rust College tend to be forgotten because it gives the Rebels another black eye. I have three Rebel friends who despise black people and it's a shame the things they say about the race. It's not isolated to only two people and that's what makes Ole Miss look so bad to the rest of the nation.
