Eh, this isn't a bid deal at all. I remember football players at State having Peach Bowl rings after we lost to NC State in 1994. Sometimes those are the bowl gifts.

It is sort of pathetic; I agree with everyone on that. No, it's really pathetic.
It is sad and pitiful and comes from a place of desperation and just wanting to feel like they accomplished something, anything.
That can be overlooked in time, I suppose, just because you kind of feel sorry for them.
Now, let's enter melted face crazy-time land and imagine a team that would create a ring for absolutely nothing at all.

Not that anyone gives a flying frick and I'm NSIAP, but Freeze pointed out that the rings were ordered a week after the game was announced as part of a gift package.
