Give Freeze a break. He had them made in G'burg by the Russian air gun/knife shop and two blocks from where he tied the knot.

"And Lord Sauron crafted one final ring more deceptive than the others. And he gave it to the Northmen, the shape-shifters that could change their form from rebel men into black bears and back. And with this ring was bound power to ridicule those who wore them until the end of the 3rd age."

I'm pretty sure that's fake. It's been floating around for years now.

You are pretty wrong. Here:

auNeck Rings

is a whole page of them. What, do you think they have a NC parade and trophies and presentations at hick banquets at community centers without NC rings?

They are going to go through all the trouble of letting one of their teenaged fans create an online People's National Championship poll and then all spread the word to vote, have a parade replete with farm equipment and actual cows, go to the local trophy shop and get themselves a NC trophy, and not give rings to the players?

Maybe this:

auNeck Ring For Sale

is just a fake and someone is going to buy a Photoshop image for three thousand bucks?

So did LSU get rings when they let the Taterheads clip them?

When you get rewarded for 2nd place you know tDecline of the SEC is real.

Meh. Not as bad as claiming national titles you didn't win. To each their own I guess.

The fact of the matter is that the coaches, players, and school don't give 2 shits what fans on a message board think about it.

Fact is Ole Miss has a giant inferiority complex. Stuck up with an inferiority complex at the same time. It's really kinda pathetic.

I'd rather claim a national title we didn't win than a West title we didn't win.

We are NOT desperate for relevance. We have been relevant since the doors to Ole Miss opened in 1848.

All the way up until the Kennedy Administration. Congrats!
