I like Ole Miss, hope they play well in all games but one. Freeze seems like a good guy. Any team from the west could make the SEC game. Top heavy talent.

This is so temporarily true. Congrats!

LSU rosters during the last 15+ years have earned the truthful reputation of being NFLU. Sure, LSU fans look more into that than they should, but it is truthful nonetheless.

So, looking at all of this in prospective and looking at the recent consistency of Ole Miss recruiting, you have to recognize that Ole Miss has made tremendous strides in that division of the game. Now, Freeze has to turn that into consistent Ws...

Let's face it, Ole Miss is a second tier sec school at best. They have never been to Atlanta and future doesn't look great. Sure they'll have a decent team every few years but they aren't near as good as the majority of their fans believe. A 9 win season last year was best in ages.

Well then, we know we can pencil in TCU in the national title game then considering the whipping TCU put on Ole Miss in the bowl game.

A lot of "stars" with not a lot of heart. Soft team and will break at the first sign of adversity.

actually you're probably about 5th in overall roster talent, at best.

Bama, Auburn, LSU and UGA all have more talented overall rosters based on the past 3-5 recruiting classes. Except for one year all of these schools finished ahead of you.

i re-watched our game against lsu and honestly if we had played lsu 10 times last season we would have probably split 50/50 against them.

defensive battle mostly and they had some turn overs.

but i swear to god son if we had played ole piss 10 times last year we would have won every game, you couldn't have beat us last year if we'd had let you sorry phucks use guns!

hell even sleeze admitted he didn't expect to win that game......he threw in the phucking towel son......no mas....no mas!

it's like ol bert says.......you can't get tough in a week.

and denver kirkland is going to have carnal knowledge of robert jimdickie.

This was UGA under Ray Goff. 22 Elite players on a 100 man roster. No heart whatsoever. Why? They were not getting benched- didn't have any competition and they knew it.

And I think it describes Ole Miss. Or some players I should say. They do have some kids that play very hard.

I'm scared to watch Ole Miss in a bowl game...does that count?

I know this is supposed to be a thread where we all point out the lunacy of the OP, but I'd like clarification on this nugget:

quote:

LSU currently has at least 15 first and second round future picks that will play this year

Can you name them? If it's "at least 15" then it shouldn't be too hard to do.

I'll try. Understand it wasn't originally my post.

Harris
Fournette
Dupre
Alexander
Pocic
Boutte
Beckwith
Godchaux
White
Adams
Plus whoever else blows up. Those aren't just camp bodies, they are studs.

And you will still lose to Ole Miss again.

Maybe when yall play Florida, instead of playing the game you can just meet at midfield and jerk each other off and tell each other how good and underrated you are.

Thanks for responding. I know it wasn't your original post and you aren't the one who said 15 1st or 2nd rounders, so it's cool that you only listed 10 names.

quote:

Harris - seriously? based on what?
Fournette - no doubt. 1st rounder baring injury
Dupre - possible. a bit early to tell
Alexander - probably. he's a beast OG
Pocic - probably a 2nd rounder. fits the criteria
Boutte - probably a 3rd rounder, but could develop into 2nd
Beckwith - definite 1st or 2nd rounder
Godchaux - probably a 1st rounder. definitely fits criteria
White - possible. depends on how he finishes this year and if decides to leave early (and how he runs)
Adams - on track to be 1st (likely) or 2nd rounder

I just don't know about 15. That's a ton. I could see 10, but 15 is a reach that requires guys - as you put it - blowing up. There aren't 15 guys that have PROVEN to be 1st or 2nd round talent right now IMO. They CAN be, but still work to do to get there.

I tried to stick to just proven guys, sans Harris and Boutte. I think it's realistic to think we'll produce the numbers.

Are yall supposed to have a great D this year? Did you know that 18 players from LSUS 2011 defense are STILL in the league?

So, if Ole Miss doesn't win the SEC with the most talented football team in history will Freeze be on the hot seat?

Yes...he'll be fired the first conference loss of the season before he even gets back to the locker room.
