The problem with the buses is traffic and they only run for a certain time frame.
All morning and until 2 hours after the game IIRC.

Why is there a slide going from the top floor of the parking Garage to the Y?

My take is that it's a necessary evil if we want to try to keep pace with the rest of the SEC.

Like you said, LSU did it and people still pack out LSU's campus to tailgate on gameday.
IMO, the first season is going to be a clusterfrick until they (both the Ath Dept and the fans) all figure out what's going on and how to accomplish their normal routine. Some fans will say frick it and buy passes, others will figure out the holes in the system (as I have done for games at LSU) and get around it or at least, incorporate the additional inconvenience into their gameday schedule.
Anyone who thinks this is outrageous and tries to convince everyone that this is unacceptable is overreacting and needs to settle the frick down and realize that the system will normalize and find it's balance.
Welcome to a properly run Ath Dept.

When LSU went to its new pay to park on campus plan, it was initially a cluster frick. The rent-a-cops at the barricades would only accept cash, $40, with little to no change available. Cars were stacked up like an interstate with a wreck & it took forever to get thru. It's smoothed out somewhat, but many people did lose access to their decades old parking spots as they did not arrive on time. For many areas it was first come first serve. I remember when UT went to this the yr after they won their NC, they basically took everyone out of their old areas & made it first come first serve, starting all over again. This is just a sign of the times for all successful college football programs. They charge for any/everything when they can get away with it.
