That's what I do. It's really convenient when it comes time to leave.

Park on "old" Old Taylor road and walk. Not that bad of a walk and much easier getting out afterward

That's generally a good idea.

Also if you don't mind a little bit of a walk, you can find some parking on the side streets of south Lamar.

With such a small stadium how could parking be a problem?

We so need a parking garage on campus.

We just got our first one. I wouldnt be surprised if we have another one in the next 5 years or so. If done right it doesnt have to be an eyesore either. The facade on ours is nice (especially for a garage) and its attached to the bookstore.

Is there currently a shuttle system that runs from parking areas off campus to campus on game days?

There is, I have used it, and it has worked pretty well. You are now going to have 4,000 cars that are going to have to park somewhere else. It is going to be confusing to people that aren't familiar with games in Oxford. 4,000 cars is a lot of cars to toss out into the general parking population of greater Oxford.

It will suck for a second adapting to this but it will be great actually seeing campus without cars pulled up onto every curb and spot of grass on Gameday

My parking spot is the one right by the gate to right field... It's free and no one ever really parks there... I guess everyone assumes you have to pay to park there

I call BS on this.

If the University and the City of Oxford could establish a few off campus parking sites with shuttles running constantly to and from campus, I think the parking situation will be fine.

That's right, Ole Miss fans... you're 'loyalty' is based on your pocket book... I don't have a dog in this fight, but that's a sack of bullsh*t, IMO.

So you're poor? That sucks

They're working on this but things like O.U.T. and zip car are already in play

Are they seriously not gonna let us on campus without a pass, even if we're students with a student parking pass?

The student parking pass gives you the right to park on campus, so you won't have to worry about that.

The reason they're doing this is to keep people from parking on the sidewalks and shite. So long as this doesn't disrupt going to and from the Grove then I'll be okay with it.

First, "your", and second, this isn't any different than any other SEC program.

O.U.T.

Does it run on gamedays?

I always see the buses running on Old Taylor during the week, but I don't remember seeing them on gamedays.
