Tubbs won't go back. Mike Leach would be good.

UNC is a better gig than OM. It's easier to win early in the ACC, and there are more resources at UNC. their basketball reputation is a tremendous to recruiting outside of the state...and being in a much bigger state, they have much more talent instate. SC and Clemson usually are able to poach NC talent, but Butch had slowed that down. Mack Brown had a perennial Top 10 program before he left for UTx. There is not enough talent in MS to sustain a good program alone and you'll never shut out Bama and LSU from the top instate recruits. But you can win at OM and it's a job that few coordinators would pass an opportunity to take over.

You forgot something crucial: the pressure to win at UNC is half of that at Ole Miss.

Unless something huge happens we'll have Leach.

You're approaching coach34 levels by having that out clause like "unless something huge happens".

The proper phrasing should've been unless Nutt wins out I guess.

I think Tuberville would possibly come back to Ole Miss if offered. Him leaving was a business decision that I understand. He wasn't getting what he wanted at Ole Miss. Did he leave the right way though? No. But I'm over it.

With the new expansion coming, and with the IPF and Academic Support Center, it is everything Tubs asked for. From my understanding, he still has hunting land not far from Oxford that he visits every year with some friends. I would be all for Tuberville coming back to Ole Miss.

If you like what Gus has done, then get Chad Morris from Clemson. Same offensive mind, better recruiter and more experience w/ 15 years as the head coach of some of Texas's biggest high schools. He's cocky as hell, and would easily take back the state from Mullen. And I think Leach would be a good fit too.

That is who AU goes after if Gus leaves.

I wished Ole Miss would have hired Tuberville years ago.

Of course I think Leach would be a good hire as well.

I wished Ole Miss would have hired Tuberville instead of Nutt. I could care less about the "pine box".

Of course I think Leach would be a good fit well.
