they are handing them over as retaliation. It sends the message to 18 year olds across the country not to cross us or we will report you to the NCAA. Honestly, Ole Miss is just trying to "burn the whole thing down." If they're going down, they want to take as many people down with them. That is a very naive way to go about things if you're concerned about the future of your program if you ever want to get out of the abyss you've found yourself in

. But the recording could be beneficial to the coaching staff in other ways. They can go back later and review their approach to different recruits and learn from mistakes they might have made. Or not really mistakes, but try to find ways to be better in future conversations.

These conversations are supposedly about offering them money and how other schools(MSU) offered them money as well. So yeah recording a convo of your coach breaking major NCAA rules is pretty bad.

So I guess they could still learn how to negotiate rates better

I'm sort of leaning that way myself. If they're real and are beneficial to Ole Miss, why would they wait until after the NOA to send them to the NCAA? They knew who the NCAA was talking to and granting immunity to. They claim they have been cooperative with working with the NCAA throughout the investigation, yet they withhold something like this? Makes no sense.

I agree. I dont think there is anything.... but the fact this is being put out there is not negative except towards ole miss.

No kid in their right mind is going to say ok.... im ok with it under those circumstances.

Coaches are already using this!

It doesnt even hurt MSU if that is their goal. The only team it hurts is ole miss.
