Anybody here think black mailing is

1- legal
2- smart to make public?

You are telling the world that you are recording recruits and their parents!!

I haven't really understood that strategy either.

But I don't rep for a high-priced, NCAA fightin' law firm, so what do I know?

To me.... its time to just take your punishment and get back to the game.

Putting out to the public you are recorsing receuits and their moms.... that will do fsr more damage to your program than what the ncaa is going to do

Ole miss is B league all the way through. They can't even get caught cheating like the big programs. Never have I seen a program throw such a fit at every stage of this.

Most Ole Miss fans think this term has something to do with transporting athletes through the postal service.

I know if I was committing a crime, the first thing I would do is record every aspect of that crime for my personal records. No likelihood of backfiring, I have history as an example...

It's really just a "hitler reacts" video that Ole Miss changed the subtitles to...

Note to self: Never read an NYC post while taking a big gulp of water. Also, consider buying the extended warranty next time.

I don't know what you are inferring but not sure "blackmail" is the term that applies.

Sure it does. Why else do you record a recruit and their mother if not to use in the future and or hold over their heads?

Point being, They have gone stupid with this line of defense and attack. Let's say it get's you guys in trouble.

MSU will bounce back, but ole miss will not. They will forever be remembered as the school who records recruits and their mothers.

State isn't even under investigation

Ole Miss is literally waiting to hear if they'll get a quasi death penalty

The delusion is hilarious

I just don't see the NCAA using that kind of info as it would deter future "immunity" granting privileges as players would refuse to cooperate. It would be like a DA throwing his confidential informant under the bus.

To protect yourself in the future if they lie to the NCAA about you.

If I was a coach, I absolutely would record my conversations with a recruit's family.

You are totally missing the point. Stop trying to defend MSU.... this isn't about MSU. I don't care about MSU.

This is about the suicide march of Ole Miss.

They are telling their recruits of 2018-20 that "We record you just in case we need to use it against you"

THat's what this is about. Stop getting rattled about MSU. Nothing will happen. Lewis got immunity.
