Everyone in the crowd was an Ole Miss fan aside from 1,800 people.

What's the big deal? Ole Miss typically doesn't travel all that well, and they had 30,000 there. They usually return a small number of their allotment to Alabama for that game, so I'd say 30,000 in Atlanta on a Thursday night is damn good for them.

also don't forget we play at LP Field in Nashville next week. I know a lot of people who chose not to go to ATL this week because they want to go there.

Me for one. Nashville is more fun. It's an sec game. And it's on a Saturday.

I agree. 30,000 is about what Ole Miss gets at home

and still have more alumni in the crowd than Bryant - Denny..

Lame excuse. They've known about it for months... fans could have made arrangements to make it there. If it had been LSU, Bama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, etc... the SEC side of the stadium would have been full and then some.

Ole Miss sold 35,000 tickets to this game. How many tickets has Alabama sold (not including what WV sold)?

Oh look. Alabama sold 31,000 tickets to the game on Saturday. Looks like Ole Miss sold more than you did.

We're saving our money for the SEC Championship game and the playoff games.

Quit saying that Ole Miss didn't do our part when we sold 35,000 to a Thursday night away game.

le Miss isn't big enough to carry the game without BSU helping. They're not a big school/fan base and they don't have hangers on to buy cheap tickets.

Just a dumb decision all around, but OM largely held up their end.
