You might be right about Tunsil. But while they're looking into him they'll stumble onto Nkemdiche, Treadwell, and Conner's shite and then it'll really hit the fan.

You fricked

The NCAA is toothless. If this was 5-6 years ago, yeah I would be pissing my pants. Ole Miss' last few meetings with the NCAA over our football program have resulted in our lawyers bending them over and having their way with them. Just threaten lawsuit and they tuck their tails between their legs and run
True, but none of the other times were y'all coming off a season where you beat Emmmert's pride and joy, Little Nicky.

Ole Miss has issues other programs didn't have to worry about. An individual in the accused's inner network openly cooperating.

Three hour interview with Tunsil's stepdad. Appears he may not have been happy about taking the rap for starting the altercation, so he decided to start talking.

A parent cooperating is the element that the other investigations didn't have. This will stick.

Ole Miss gave a scholly to Tunsil's brother. Ole Miss refused to give schollys to the Stepdad's two sons.

He mad.

Auburn covered the tracks on the Cam thing and that was that. Tunsil's recruitment was likely similar in that the father figure was like the fiduciary of the arrangement. Except, this time the stepdad fricked up and is now on the outside looking in since his relationships have dissolved. In turn, he decides to retaliate by sharing the inner workings of Laremy's recruitment. An incredibly mean thing to do, but effective. I don't see how Tunsil plays this year. At the very minimum.

Tunsil will go to the NFL and be fine. Freeze and OM should be worried. You have a parent making very serious allegations.

Yep. The stepdad knows that all he had to do was keep his nose clean and mouth shut until he got the house and car (probably some money too). Why would he go blabbing it all and starting up all the ruckus?

I was all for the young Tunsil when this first broke, but what if his story is was just a preemptive attack?

Nothing may come of this, but having a looming investigation like this is not a good thing.

The days of serious NCAA penalties are history.

Football is the goose that laid the golden eggs.

Any SEC team on probation might impact the money the NCAA makes so they will steer clear of destroying the league.

The only way something happens is if there is a coverup or someone lies to investigators.

Having ole miss on probation and unable to make the postseason won't have any affect on the conference. Good chance theybdont be in bowls in 2 years anyways. That's why they worry about sanctions

Here's what gets me. If Freeze just keeps his big buck toothed mouth shut and doesn't throw the stepdad under the double decker bus, none of this probably even happens. But freeze pissed him off for making him out to be a wife beater and he said screw it, if I'm going down I'm taking the whole damn bunch with me. Keep your coach off social media from making dumbass tweets and things will be ok. Notice he hasn't said shot to anyone since this broke. Day late and a dollar short

Plus, you don't think he knows who is paying for the house he's living in? That seems to be pretty easy to find out.

Agree, they botched the Miami ordeal.

And have they even ruled on North Carolina yet?

there was a player who got 500 cash from a strength coach, but
I think it was just a "let me hold" until I can "get you back" type deal.

IF YOU TELL THE TRUTH, NCAA DOES NOT CARE.

Giving Ole Miss the death penalty will have zero impact on the SEC and/or the NCAA.
