I agree with that. I just think as spineless as they are they'd still hammer tLandmass and poke out their chests.

What exactly would they do to Ole Miss?

Atlanta SEC Championship ban for 4 years. So business as usual.

It won't be funny when the NCAA suspends him for the first 4 games of the season. Oh it's coming....

Ole Miss should be scared because they are one of the few SEC teams the NCAA can get away with slamming. They won't dare mess with tBig6. But Ole Miss?

Oh heck yes. So ... it's coming.

We'll go 3-1 the first 4 games with or without him. Beat UT-Martin, Fresno and Vandy. Lose to Bama. Not devastating at all

Yep. That's why I'd be worried if I was a Reb fan.

They've tried to mess with us before and each time we've bent them over. Last time was when they tried to make Masoli ineligible to play and our lawyers went up to Indianapolis, threatened lawsuits and they changed their stance two days later.

They have been a joke, and this may be the point of making an example. Ole Miss isn't a traditional powerhouse yet they've shown to be tough the last few years.

Just the type of program that fits the bill for catching people's attention with name familiarity yet not a stalwart that would shake the very foundation of CFB.

death penalty is likely. They will also halt construction on the basketball complex too.

Which just means they want you that much worse.

Good luck with that.

This is the most likely outcome. They may look like they are being thorough and make a spectacle, but they have no real chops. All you have to do is deny and cajole and they will fold like a cheap suit. UGA may be the only school in the country that has yet to figure that out.

What is more believable? Cam Newton coming to Auburn for free when his 2nd option is living in Starkville for 2 years, or the 9th or 10th best football program in the SEC alone honestly having a top 5 recruiting class nationally? Might be in a minority, but I know which option I would pick

I'm really not sure the NCAA gives a frick anymore. Hell, Bama players have tweeted they got paid and basically said so what, come at me.

Maybe Bama is a sacred cow these days but I don't see the NCAA as having any teeth anymore.

The Cam thing is irrelevant. The NCAA looking for wrongdoing and couldn't find anything so that was that.

Let's wait and see what comes of the NCAA investigating this current situation in Oxford. If in fact that is happening.

Cam's investigation led to a SEC and NC Championship, Heisman, and #1 draft pick.

Tunsil's turn.
