He got a favorable report and did not agree with their evaluation so he is not coming back?

He got a second round grade. He wants to go in the first round. Why is this so hard for you to figure out?

So you think he is coming back to try and improve his draft position one round and risk injury. You need to get a fricking clue.

Why else would he return, dumbass?

Look at his second contract. Five years $42M, but Summer of Sam says RB never get big second contracts.

You are just naming random NFL players who got big 2nd contracts?

Every once in a while they do, and generally the GMs who give them out get raked over the coals and/or fired......

No, that is reserved for GMs that draft Bama RBs.

Exactly. Big second contracts for running backs are rare for a reason.

You have a knack for changing subjects and immediately getting your clock cleaned on them. It's a rare and impressive trait.

The objective is to get the highest ranking you can pre-draft so you're guaranteed higher money. A TON of stuff can happen in the NFL which leads you to not even getting a second contract, or from underperforming.

Getting that money up-front in a first round pick gives you a safety net in case your career goes to shite after your second or third year in the NFL.

ALSO, say you're just awful at the NFL. Just terrible at it. You're much, much more likely to get a second contract just from the fact that you WERE a 1st round pick, and not a 3rd or 2nd round pick.

So, literally none of what you're saying is true.
