Oregon should not be ahead of Bama that is an insult to gumps everywhere

Committee cares about wins and Bama plays 2 of top 4. Looks good to me.

What's crazy is LSU has already played 3 of the final four.

We still have to play #1 and #3. If we win out, we're in. If we don't, we're out. It's very simple.

Impressed with the Committee, I think they got it right. I still think 2 SEC teams will get in also.
The OM-AU, MSU-Bama, Iron Bowl and Egg Bowl games are going to be epic. A lot on the line for those 4 teams...gonna be a bloodbath

Pretty much. They are hyping that game this weekend, though, aren't they?

Yep. Bama will move up at least one spot next week to number 5. We play the current number one and number 3. Win out we are good. Lose more more and we are done.

Georgia not getting much respect at 11, motivation I guess.

Because we finally learned that head to head matters much more than in previous years

Big change is that a later loss isn't too damaging. Ole Miss would have gotten hammered in the BCS rankings.
I like how it sits as of now.
***i do wonder if they are still running a political gambit right now with 3 SEC teams in the top 4 right now. They could say " we did see the SEC as the leader but then they fell off..."

So if State and Auburn win out we get 2 teams in?
Posted on 10/28/14 at 6:43 pm to MykTide
Well Ole Miss or Auburn is gonna be kissing the playoffs goodbye this weekend.

Same story for AU, Ole Miss, and UGA.
MSU is the only one that could maybe drop one and still get in.
Otherwise it is the same for 4 SEC teams at this point.

I think the ONLY thing that can be taken from tonight is the committee does not care about conference affiliation and they will put the best 4 teams in regardless of conference.
I think this is a great sign for the SEC overall. Alabama will get their shot (and already had it, to a point, with Ole Miss). But I really like what I see out of the committee.
