Olsen is a great place for baseball--a real ballpark feel. I prefer the double deck grandstand to all these low rake, single-tier topped by suites ballparks that have been built in recent years. I wish they didn't need to put in suites, but had to at least put in a few due to the money they generate.

I've had season tickets on the top row of the first deck for over 20 years and look forward to seeing the renovated version tonight.

This is the 1st year they're going to Charleston instead of Greenville for the neutral SC-CU site, which I like the idea of rotating those 2 cities, but has anyone been there before? How is it?

Very nice. Will have to check it out sometime. Maybe this year when LSU comes over for football.

bbap,

If you're in town for LSU/A&M, a lot of football tailgating is on A&M's "West Campus," in areas that are a fairly easy walk over to Olsen Field / Blue Bell Park.

Some tailgating areas are actually in its shadow.

It is my humble opinion that you, or who ever ranked these, has no idea what they are talking about. To put DNF that far down when we own every college baseball attendance record is laughable. I guess y'all go by some other marker.

The UTEXAS stadium looks nice on the outside, but the inside...yuck - no dirt either - it's painted. aTm's renovation is the best NCAA in Texas IMO...

I haven't seen those at a college baseball park before. I guess I've been spoiled by Baum.

Even though A&M and Arkansas haven't been in the same conference for 20 years, seems that I've been to more games at George Cole Field than you have. My, how soon we forget.

So basically you have to compare aTm's brand spankin' new stadium to one Arkansas had 20 years ago?

Welcome to the SEC.
