Damn right. The rest are chasing SC ATM.

Did SC switch bats this year as well?

I'm not exactly sure to be honest.

Now that I edited are you any more sure than before?

I assumed you meant bats anyways.

To be honest I really only pay attention to the games and the occasional article. Other than that..

I would like to add to the "shared" stadiums. Furman and Clemson and I think South Carolina play games at Fluor Field in Greenville.

Plenty of college play games at minor league and major league parks. The schools I listed play basically their entire home schedule at the shared stadiums.

#6 would have been Haymarket Park (Nebraska). Hammons Field (Missouri State) would have been #7. Both are very nice stadiums.

I've been to the Oregon State stadium multiple times and there is now way that stadium should even be mentioned here.

Oregon State has a 100+ year old building that is tucked into the heart of campus. I think they have done a really good job updating the stadium since the CWS titles. It isn't even remotely in the same league as LSU, Arkansas, South Carolina, but they have a very nice college baseball stadium.

Flour Field in Greenville has the same dimensions are the same as Fenway Park, really nice place to see a game.

And yes the Gamecocks did beat Clemson at Flour last year. Pretty good atmosphere with the crowd split 50/50

And to the guy that would put Ole Miss above us? Please. That's just asinine. At least my opinion can be argued.

How is it asinine? I think that could be very arguable.

Isn't there a plan to put chairbacks down the first and third base line at the Box? Seems I remember reading that somewhere...

I thought I heard some LSU fans talking about the Box eventually having box seats throughout the grandstand.

The structures that have the bleacher seats with backs down the first and third base lines are permanent concrete and brick structures. They're not like the structures that have bleacher seats in the left and right outfields. I thought that I read somewhere that somewhere down the line, the bleacher seats with backs would be replaced with chairbacks...that it was going to be another phase after the second set of suites were added. Did I imagine this?

It used to be no big deal because you could bring alcohol in but that went away with the new stadium.

Hate to disagree, bud, but I had no problem bringing in drinks in the outfield bleachers in the old Box. I've heard friends say that they would always bring daiquiris into the left and right field bleachers and noone ever gave them any problems. I know that I never had any problems.

Now, the new Box I have no clue because I've never tried...

Mark my words. Sewell-Thomas will own these type arguments when we're through rebuilding it from the ground up.

I was really just talking about bringing in a pint or something. Yes, you could at times just walk in with a daiquiri in the old box but it's still a joke to bring liquor into the place.

Oh it'll be better than the dump it is now, but it'll never be better than the Box, Baum, USC or Ole Miss. How 'bout showing us some plans?

All of the nicer stadiums are built to be improved on the fly. I know ours is, and all of the other stadiums from the SEC like Baum, Box, Swayze and Carolina Stadium look that way as well. So I don't think anyone will ever "own" these arguments

Certainly not a middle of the road program.
