Mind if I ask why, Henry Jones Jr?
Just a lot of talk yesterday from some Aggies about being in the top 25. Guess my assumption was wrong.

All of those but Rutgers are actually pretty decent. I wouldn't favor y'all against Washington or UCLA.

Really? I didn't see that (not saying it didn't happen).
We win, we'll be there. We don't, we won't
(how's that for a brilliant revelation? ha)

Agreed. Thought LSU would hold.
I still think K State will come out of the Big XII, possibly undefeated. And then they will get shut out of the Natty.

FSU looks better than LSU. They have looked better pretty much every week. And USF is obviously a better opponent than Towson. I bet less than 5% of LSU fans know which state their opponent was from yesterday.

Agreed. And last week FSU trailed almost the entire game at home against Clemson.

honestly we probably are one of the top 25 teams in the country but that's really irrelevant to how this process works.
Some examples are Rutgers ranked while fighting tooth and nail with Arky and Tulane. Or TCU in the top 15 while winning on a last second INT on their 5 yard line vs SMU. I think most know we haven't beaten anyone of consequence yet but we also haven't struggled at all in our wins.

I think it was partly a carry over from last week. After LSU's performance against Auburn last week, I think many voters were looking for a reason to move FSU above us, and the team made the decision an easy on last night. The big question will be whether or not they move LSU back over the Noles if they show up and beat the Gators in the swamp or whether they will reward FSU for is crap schedule the rest of the way.

Ole Miss beats State this year....book it.

I can see the two switching spots until Nov 3rd settles it. Or until Oregon drops one (which they should)

If that poll is correct, 2012 Alabama would be the first team ranked unanimous #1 this early in the season since 1983 Nebraska.

How, when you think FSU is better?

Because I don't decide the AP poll...the voters do. And I can see them switching the two should LSU win against UF convincingly and nobody will care if FSU crushes NC St.

UCLA is 4-1 and Nebraska is 4-1. UCLA lost to undefeated Oregon State...Nebraska lost to UCLA.
#21 Nebraska
#25 UCLA
Polls are awesome.
