La Tech still on the outside looking in.

Humans should have no say in deciding a champion.

Once again, 5/10 of the top 10 teams reside in the SEC. If USCe or UGA lose a close game where do you think they fall? I wouldn't drop either lower than 10 tbqh.

TAMU should be 5-1 and ranked going into the LSU game.

Their defense is every bit as good as UGA's and LSU's.

Oh, to have back that 3-pt loss to Florida.
Bygones.
One game at a time. Ole Miss is going to be a formidable opponent this week. I've watched each of their games thus far and have been impressed w what I've seen.

WTF is wrong with the coaches?

How does a shitty Boise State team ENTER the coaches poll when Washington (who BEAT Stanford) isn't ranked?

The AP poll is rendered meaningless in 3 weeks anyway. The polls to watch are the coaches and the harris.

As they should be. They are getting hosed in these polls and I don't know why.

These polls are some of the worst I've ever seen in terms of laziness on the part of voters. They appear to be research-avoidant. The UCLA/Nebraska situation is exhibit A. Look at TCU--they struggled against a pathetic Kansas team and then pulled out an 8 point win over a terrible SMU team but they are ranked as the #15 team in the nation. Boise State. W.T.F.

I started having panic attacks that season. I wish I could say that I'm kidding.

You've got to be kidding me. Did you not see the Texas game?

Ole Miss defense is an abomination. The Texas offensive line was much meaner, nastier, and stronger than the opposing defensive line.

Just because Bama couldn't exert it's will doesn't mean A&M can't and should. Aggies have a good offensive line.

A&M scores in bunches, IMO.

If the Ags don't stomp a mud hole in Ole Miss, we won't deserve to be ranked. Rankings will however work itself out just like they always do...there are some teams that are ranked and aren't good, but they will lose and not be mentioned again. This is why they shouldn't have rankings until after week 5.

I do. There are a couple of reasons.

Using the AP Pollstalker, A&M was ranked by 15 voters anywhere between 19-25.

A lot of the voters on the west coast (especially in the pacific northwest) just flat out do not like us because we refused to join the PAC back in 2010. Others are Seahawk fans who can't get over us forcing them to honor our trademark.

The Coaches' Poll is a different story. I can almost guarantee that every single Big 12 coach will omit us from the poll if they are allowed to vote. Dennis Franchione will likely do the same.

You'd think the Big12 would want to see the ags do well just to strengthen their claim of being a major conference. But you're probably correct.

I don't buy your Pac12 argument though.

Only reason SEC has 5 in the top 10 because they haven't played one another yet.
