**Off Season Thread** How mad/happy would you be if your offense switched?

Let's say LSU came out in the Wing-T or Flex-Bone as main formation?

Or Arkansas decided to run the Run n Shoot and not use the TE at all.

I think the natives would carry torches and pitchforks to Miles' home and demand for him to be tarred and feathered.

I legit would not care if we came out in the A11 offense if it was effective.

Wing-t, air raid, triple option, power I, etc. do not give a damn what it is if it's effective for us.

You and I both know the critics would be out though. I mean they could run the Wing-T and be 12-0, but they did not throw it enough.

I really think you've got LSU fans wrong on this one. The only reason so many are so gung-ho about the current offense is because it is not effective on a good day and hilariously ineffective on a bad day.

If we passed the ball 5 times a game and still put up a bunch of points and it didn't affect recruiting, I don't think most would have a problem.

We could run the wishbone with undies on our heads and I wouldn't care as long as we don't get buttfricked in the butt by LSU like always my dude

We literally just did pull an offensive 180. In '12, we were playing with Petrino's players and assistants with a pass-heavy offense, recruiting 8 WR's every cycle. In '13, we went to a bruising ground game and became Diet Alabama.

I don't care what we do, I just want to excel at it. I embrace our image if it's something that scares people.

The wing T is an amazing offense I hope one day we get to see it on the FBS level

It will be back, just like the Single Wing has come back. All the "Spread" is, is the Single Wing.

I wonder if the Houston Veer ever comes back though.

I'd be pretty pissed off.

Our wide-outs are staaaaaaaacked right now and our offense does an outstanding job at distributing the passes.

Oh, I agree. I was completely blown away by how deep our receiving corp turned out to be last year. And it was devastated with injuries, too. We still changed our offensive scheme entirely, though.

LSU fans perfect storm of bliss - undefeated season - NC and firing the coach.

I think I would puke if Georgia ever came out and started trying to run the Oregon or Baylor offense. Those offenses work in their conferences, but they don't work against SEC caliber defensive lines.

I think we could be 12-0, and some people would be upset

LSU in the Wing T style that Citadel used against South Carolina last year would be scary as hell. Particularly if they shifted in and out of other formations like Citadel did.

As for Arkansas and the Run and Shoot... hell that wasn't too far from the offense we ran in the second half of the last season.

Citadel ran a Flex Bone not a Wing T

The Run n Shoot is way different go watch the Gamblers Cougars Oilers to see a Run n Shoot. It's blocked different and way easier to run.

If we switch to putting the QB under center on 3rd or 4th and short I would be excited. Never understand why you line up shotgun on 3rd and inches
