I think Clemson would be unreal in football if it was in SEC. Clemson getting good players like CJ Spiller and Sammy Watkins and our QB Watson out of heavily recruited states like Florida and Georgia.

Arkansas always "felt" SEC. Parts of Arkansas are the same as Mississippi and Louisiana....delta areas are a dump.

Calling large chunks of the Arkansas delta dumps is a slander on the good name of dumps I will have you know.

In everything but that one gif that gets posted when we have the "why does the SEC dominate football" threads.

FIFY dipshit. This is the SEC rant, not ACC rant...GFY and GTFO.

Arkansas (the state) sometimes gets called "midwestern" or compared to places like East Tennessee or West Va.

If you look at the entire state, about half of it is more like Mississippi than any other state. The University just happens to be up in the hills. And rather than midwestern, I think of western Arkansas as being more like the southwest. Watch True Grit. Lots of the "wild west" stuff of lore happened along the Arkansas border with Indian territory. W. Ark has a lot more in common with East Texas than it does Kansas or Nebraska.

Is this about black people?

Black people by percentage:

Texas - 12%

Arkansas - 15%

4. Mizzou (only SEC thing about them is all the East Titles, but who the frick is counting accomplishments in this group?)

I don't really care what the internets perception of my state is...

But at the same time it's sad how misguided people can be.

You're from Louisiana, yes?

St. Louis is like a sister city to New Orleans, a large area called Soulard is like the French Quarter. We're Big Muddy brothers to you.

The Ozarks represent a large portion of Missouri, which is more southern than most of The South is today. Fact.

Countless other tidbits, including a large fence in St. Louis with Union gun barrels pointing into the ground, with Confederate barrels pointing up.

Robert E Lee statue in Forest Park. Ect Ect.

The problem with those raw numbers is that A&M doesn't cover the entire state. Our footprint in New Orleans is as big as El Paso I would bet.

If you just take the city that feeds A&M (which is completely fair to do seeing as how Houston has more people in it than Arkansas) you will see numbers that hover closer to 25% for that demographic.

Except it smells/looks better in St. Louis and your food is way worse.

Come on, I left the clue there in the part of OP you quoted for Mizzou fans. This thread is not to troll you.

In fact, the only way I troll Mizzou this offseason is if yall waste the opportunity to be super fricking annoying Ranters that a second East title has given you.

Other than that yall are like Aggies to me, no friendly fire.

I'll say Mizzou because they have players that do not give themselves gay arse nicknames and they win shite. I like Gary Pinkel as well.

I watch a lot of SEC games. I'm a college football fan. There is no ACC rant.

Clemson plays two SEC schools almost every year, sometimes 3 if we get matched up in a bowl.

If it wasn't just about getting tv sets and expanding the market, Clemson would have been admitted to SEC vs Mizzou and Texas AM.

Dabo sounds more intelligent than Spurrier. I can understand what Dabo is saying. He also stands in like a man at the press conference after a loss. Spurrier loves talking trash when he is winning but can't even answer some questions after a loss.

I don't get your point. Let's face it, Clemson seems like a SEC school.

I took it more as a shot at USCe and Mizzou by saying a school that isn't part of the SEC is more SEC than two current members. Hence - fishing with dynamite

Anyway, UAB played a lot of SEC games - So does ULM. Carry on

lol imagine a fan of SC's state rival taking a shot.....my statement wasn't about them though. I was just responding to some of the people who act like Clemson and other ACC fans shouldn't post on here.

I like being in the ACC though, being viewed as underdog.
