A&M. We always belonged in the SEC. We didn't leave the big 12. We just came home.

Does the name Steve Taneyhill mean anything to you?

I'm so SEC I have actual live memories of that fricker climbing the band director ladder in front of the student section at Razorback Stadium to taunt the crowd.

I can remember out TE coach throwing a pass, with the wrong arm, into the endzone to beat Bama at BDS.

I also remember the SEC-CG not being played in ATL.

I can also vaguely remember Tennessee being a decent program who at their height was beaten by a Kines HC'd team.

Nope. But I believe you. You is SEC.

I mean, don't y'all try to claim some BS national title in the 60's? I think that is the key requirement that Mizzou needs to start digging for.

I'm so SEC, I remember:

SEC title games being played in B'ham.

Ole Miss/Arkansas being played in Jackson and Memphis.

Iron Bowl at Legion Field, every other year, but home games for Auburn.

Tennessee being good at football and the Vols considering basketball a women's sport.

The Dinardo Era.

Lol no.

Now Maryland, that has an argument. Would have gone confederate without Lincoin's illegal martial law.

You bite your tongue sir. Our 1960 NC is more legitimate than half of the NCs claimed by you SEC folk.

I was talking to Arky fans. I didn't even know Mizzou tried to claim a 1960 national title. Is that AP?

Edit: Wiki tells me yall ended the season ranked #5 but was undefeated. That is a SEC title if I have ever seen one.

I went to South Carolina before the SEC days. I remember when Ole Miss played there in 1980.

Any answer that places Mizzou last is correct.
