NAILED IT. Also, it's easier to market basketball shoes than football shoes. Basketball shoes are more universally used on and off the court compared to football cleats. Plus, Jordan revolutionalized shoe marketing in sports.

I would imagine they will market some sort of cross trainer along with actual football shoes to try and increase their customer base.
