Doesn't seem like Nuss's offense was what caused Bama to lose. But nobody wants to blame King Saban's defense.

You omitted one huge stat: turnovers.
Alabama had 3 turnovers versus A&M and 5 turnovers versus Oklahoma.
Not much blame can be laid at the OC's feet for those.
On another note, stats don't tell the whole story.
One way to beat a good offense is to keep it off the field, and sometimes Nuss's playcalling resulted in punting situations which put the defense right back on the field. A few of the turnovers would have been avoidable if better, more reasonable plays had been selected for the the given situation.
Versus Texas A&M, half of those passing yards came on three deep balls in the 4th quarter. Versus Oklahoma, most of McCarron's yardage came on deep throws. The offense did not move up and down the field versus the Oklahoma defense.
Versus Auburn, Alabama couldn't do anything in the second half besides hit a long touchdown on shitty coverage. McCarron is a B quarterback at best, but Nuss had enough talent to work with to make Alabama's offense much better than it was. You don't have to worry about turnovers and putting your defense in a bad situation or tiring them out if you don't set up your offense for failure.

Well if that's the case yall should look into Coach Stud. He is an experienced OC looking for a new challenge I hear.

It was when he was an OC at USC

You mean when the real reason they were successful was Steve Sarkisian?
