The arguing is fun, but in a nut shell this is merely a form of entertainment. Those that take it too seriously are somewhat like the jackasses that started offing each other after the game.

I was doing pretty good at following the topic of this thread with the posts untill I hit page 3. Anyone else feel the wheels have fallen off somewhere ?
Although I agree with LSU fans that the shirt stinks, I can sorta understand why the guy posted it. Unless you have been under a rock, you have to admit that LSU fans have been talking big smack ever since the season started (I know I know, so have Bama fans, but SO FAR, we have some how found a way to back it up, SO FAR). We have heard week in and week out how badly we were gonna get beat the next weekend or it was our week to be upset. We were gonna lose to Clemson, get KILLED by UGA, lose to UT, get SMASHED by LSU, and lose 1 or 2 more with one of them being a game that Saban usually gets beat by a no name team. So I can understand the part about BIG TALK with LSU. As far as the BIG TIME, we havn't made it there yet and don't need to talk that way because LSU is BIG TIME right now because they are the defending NC. Yeah, thay have lost 3 games this year and out of the SEC race, but if they wasn't still big time, you wouldn't have these threads. We need to just stay focused because we have 4 games left this year and if you know anything about Alabama football, all 4 of those we could end up losing to.

Yeah, but when UGA came in here in '03 and handled us in all aspects of the game except the scoreboard, no one wanted to hear the moral victory bullshite from them. Two way street my man.

Bama has 6 AP national championships, period. All the BS claims are just that, BS. If other teams counted like Bama, it would just be ridiculous, just like Bama's claim. And what you just said is pretty much calling us sore winners, but look at LSU fans spewing excuses. 2 ints were b/c we played well. 2 were b/c of lee. wilson threw one, javier fumbled on the 15, tiffin missed a feild goal and had one blocked, ingram fumbled in the backfield (luckly recovered), so did wilson....i can continue...
You guys claim championhips that were awarded 30 yrs after the fact. Only respected ones are AP/BCS-UPI. Think you have 5 of those. No baseball or track championships. No basketball titles,not even a trip to Final Four. To give credit where it's due,ya'll are among leaders in number of times being placed on probation by NCAA!

Glad you got a shirt made for beating a team you were favored over. But why in the hell would that be the #1 shirt in Baton Rouge? Tuscaloosa perhaps, but I guarantee many of those aren't selling here. So your post would be inaccurate.

That shirt is freaking lame. Big talk from LSU?? Bama was #1 going into the game and expected to win. LSU was #15. It's not like beating us was an upset. I don't think the #1 team in the country should be printing up shirts for winning games they are supposed to win, against a lower-ranked opponent...in OT no less. Of course, there is no mention of OT on that shirt though. It shouldn't surprise anyone who knows Bama's reputation of coming out with t-shirts to honor all sorts of stupid things such as "recruiting national champions", "got Saban", etc.
