I'd say the ignorant one, is the one who projects something non existent, in order to try and bitch about something. He is either trolling or has some deep rooted homophobia and is projecting it onto others to compensate for himself

How does one get an invite to watch games with Roy?

I have no idea. One of my buddies lives in Memphis and has been going there for awhile, I am not privy to how he got his foot in the door and I get the sense its one of those "if you have to ask, you'll never know" sorts of things. He has certain rules of his home that its very important to follow but beyond that I don't know exactly what that entails, am just gonna take the "when in Rome" approach. (Insert Bama fans making more don't drop the soap etc jokes here)

Don't quote me on this, but I believe Roy's parties are open to anyone unless he recognizes you and doesn't want you in his house.

Definitely jealous. What an atmosphere that'll be. You just know they're going to be rooting for Mizzou.

Perfect description of a ludicrous old southern closet queen. I bet he doesn't like democrats. We're the ones with a gaydar of sufficient accuracy to peg him for the sad human he seems to be.

Right. And I know tolerance is all en vogue now, but it works both ways. People like you preach tolerance, yet when someone disagrees with that lifestyle, you start acting like a pompous intolerant arse.

fricking hypocrites.

This weekend I shall be in Memphis watching the Mizzou-Georgia game (and every other game on the planet simultaneously) as a humble guest in the home of Tennessee booster Roy Adams, he of the house full of 36 big screens, of proudly and openly flaunting his violations of NCAA rules he didn't agree with, of entertaining politicians and former players at his watch parties, of wearing a coonskin cap and orange blazer to his deposition by the lawyers for two Alabama coaches.

I'n down with your Melvin Booker avatar and all, but what's the point of this other than to namedrop?

Pretty cool, actually. I'd like to hang out at one of Roy's parties sometime. He's one of the more colorful, flamboyant, fringe characters of southern football.

Really? Look at the layout of those TVs. Looks like at least 4 different models just sorta thrown up there. Poor planning is poor planning.
