I believe that Ark's beef is that there was no TD actually called on the play. In fact one ref threw the beanbag down for a fumble.... Which ref threw his hands up for a TD?

Supposedly a line judge called it a TD. I didn't see it but I was at home. I was certain it was a fumble.

I have no problem with Ark being upset but acting like you'd have won the game, don't give me that crap.

Yes, bag was thrown... first down Arkansas signaled. That was the call on the field. It shocked the hell out of me when he stated the call was TD. I knew right there we were about to get fricked.

If someone can show me a ref with the hands up, fine... do it and I can maybe understand.

The only problem is no one will ever know... and it sucks.

I'm over it, though. I just like to argue.

Actually if you are talking about LSU then no they aren't. Only one of those games is in Alabama. We play Bama at home.

Oh, I agree with you 100%. That bad/missed call was not the reason Cam single-handedly trucked the Hogs on Saturday. The guy's a freaking BEAST.

there was no evidence that it didnt cross the plane
That's the whole key. None of the camera angles were straight down the goal line. Look at the replays and every solid yardline, and the goal line, are angled, meaning the camera view is at an angle as well, so you can't tell where the ball was when it came out.

Also, I never saw an official make the TD signal, but he doesn't have to raise his arms. If you notice, the officials huddled together and discussed the play. This is a lot like in baseball where the umpires will discuss a play to see if someone had a better angle on it. If the one official who tossed the beanbag was screened by the Ark. player, Wages may have asked him if he was certain the ball was out before the ball crossed the plain of the goalline. If the official said he wasn't sure, they then asked for help.

rumor has it Jeff Long is in Birmingham right now. He needs to tell them fockers that us and our 75 thousand seat fans will straight bolt to the big 12 if they do not get that shite under control? The was complete and utter bullchit. Protecting that piece of shite Auburn team is what pisses me off. Right when that play happened, I was like yeah this game has already been decided by the powers that be. It was not a level playing field.

This game was called horribly on both sides it is difficult to say what impact it would have had if any. the UF game last year you guys got screwed every call went against you, this one there were calls that went against you and others that didn't just the one bad one went out way.

I would never in the world buy that butt munchers yeller wood. That game made me sick and when I realized what was happening it was so obvious that the FIX was in just like the black sox scandal but at least they would later admit that it was FIXED.

Come on... no one wants to go the Big 12. They are just being stupid.

I just think you got the benefit of TDs when the calls were made.

The Auburn game will be a hard one to win because Auburn has proven to be a very good team and it's at their house. I feel like the Alabama game will be tougher even though we have yall at home.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. I think most of the SEC wouldn't mind losing Arky. I think of the 12 schools, 11 campuses have to be easier roadtrips than Fayetteville. Seems like there isn't a direct way to get there at all.

So you're fine if your AD decides to bolt what is undoubtably the strongest conference in the nation, all to stand in the long line of teams that kiss Texas' arse and be their Bitch?

The best was watching that NFL game this weekend when they interviewed Perriera right before the review was complete - I'm betting the replay official was watching the FOX feed and did exactly what he said to do and call the pass incomplete - forgot what game it was.

The ball being stripped right before goal line was the worst call, that should have never been called a TD on the field - the other one, fumble, was a judgment call that could've gone either way.

Yeah that Childs TD that was just fake points we don't count those. I would be complaining as well if I were in your shoes but just trying to point out some rational things in this discussion. If we'd have lost to Kentucky last week Slive and company would be hiring body guards as I'd have hunted them down as bad as we were fricked over in that game.

I didn't watch this game but from that angle he did not get the ball across before he fumbled.
