I have no clue who we beat. Having the best and most experienced QB in the west will help a lot.

It all rides on our defense and if Diaz can field a decent one. We have a lot of talent, but must replace some key starters. Offense won't miss a beat imo..the good thing about our system is we just need a serviceable OL, not a great one to be effective. Offensive schemes like Arkansas and LSU need great OLs because they pound the rock up the middle.

All games will be competitive this year in the West..I see it being like last year and all of the teams beating up on each other, and the ones who win 10+ games will be the ones who get some lucky bounces. We could go anywhere from 7-5 to 10-2 imo. I don't think any West team makes it through unscathed. I'd be shocked if any team has less than 2 losses in the West due to the lack of returning QB experience...teams like Bama, Auburn, OM will be talented but inexperienced QB play will cost them a couple of games imo.

Is this guy serious, Miss St has never won anything ever. Like at all?

Miss St has won 4 times in the last 30 meetings. 4 in 30. Miss St caught LSU during a rebuilding year with personnel issues. Funny Miss St's offense stalked once Welter came out and Beckwith came in at MLB. Not I mention once Harris came in and the offense got going.

God you guys have a decent season and think you should be contenders. You don't have the facilities or the stadium or the talent. Win a conference title since Before World War II and we can talk.

OM's offense will be your achilles heel. Y'all will win as long as you hold teams under 24 points

I don't understand it either. This year is as wide open as it has ever been.

People may laugh, but Bama isn't getting out the regular season without at least two losses. They have problems at QB and secondary until it is shown otherwise, plus, teams are getting better despite their individual flaws.

No team is a leader, no matter how much they want to overrate Auburn's team. Muschamp should make some improvement, but don't expect anything really big until 2016. They will have a much better passing offense, but how will that effect the run game when Johnson is nowhere near as dynamic as Marshall in that regard?

Arkansas could pull a 2013 Miss St, (minus being ranked #1 at some point) but that's about it.

TAMU is highly over estimating Chavis, and they still don't have an at least serviceable run game (and will need it considering they don't have a dual threat at QB).

Miss St basically loses a defense that was already really bad in giving up big plays last year despite all that experience. The offense will be ridiculous though, that won't be enough (see Manziel/TAMU 2013).

Ole Miss has a major problem at QB, but they do have the pass catchers. The defense will be sound yet again this year, but what about that toddler level running game? Until it is shown, RB and QB will be a problem.

LSU is a QB away, but until it is shown that we have that, we can only be considered 3rd or 4th at best.

because they are LSU QBs?

LSU QB play compared to the rest of their team has been baffling on many occasions.

Vegas doesn't think so. LSU is currently a 4 point favorite. LSU is also the 10th overall pick to win the NC this year, while both State and Ole Miss are 30-1 each(not actually bad for them). I honestly believe State lost WAY too much on the lines and defense. It took a down year by LSU/Auburn/A&M/Arky for State to finally have a 3 loss season. All the other teams in the West have far more talent than State (excluding Arkansas) and this year both Auburn and LSU will be MUCH better than last year. I believe Ole Miss without an offense will be fighting it out with State for last in the conference. Bo Bounds will lose his mind.....lol...after all the shite talking he has been doing about the "ELITE" seasons that both schools had.

Name a school in the SEC that had more QB's playing in the NFL this past season? If you compare LSU's QB's to Miss State's QBs, over the last 15 years, it is comical. Davey, Jamarcus, Flynn, Mett. LSU currently has a qb on it's roster that will be drafted higher than Prescot. Watch.

LSU went 8-4 this past regular season with absolutely no QB play. With the team they will have this year, and the SAME QB play, I believe they go 10-2. That's how much better the team as a whole will be. With good QB play...watch out. Lot of people sleeping on the Tigers (not vegas, but what do they know right?)

I was referring to our stint as the leader of the pack where we didn't play so well.. I hope you watched that game last year in BR. I hope you paid good money for a great view of that arse-whoopin!

LMAO...you lost three games last year. To most of the Elite SEC, that is a poor season. Classic...talking shite about LSU after having lost every game to them that you can remember...and still, in your best year in your lifetime, and one of LSU's worst....you had to hold your breath at the end of the game to hang on. Classic bottom feeder talking shite.

LSU will finish last I feel this way too.

You do realize that Vegas has them in the top 10 teams to win the NC right? Also, you do realize that they will be better in every single area this year, than last? RB, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB.......keep this in mind, vegas has them top 10 odds to win it all, and that's WITH QB uncertainty. Lord help the West if Harris steps it up.

ahhhh, the guy that was beating his chest last year telling everyone how LSU wouldn't score on Ole Miss and that we would be lucky to have 50 yards running the ball......good times right?

Seriously, you have ZERO offense, and an undersized defense. I could see you possibly finishing ahead of Miss State and maybe A&M...but I'm not sure who else. This year, LSU and Auburn won't be down, and Arkasnas will be much improved. Bama will Bama, and that only leaves A&M and State. Overall, you have the 5th best overall talent in the West (but one of the lesser talented teams Arky is a bad matchup for your light defense)....so, yes, it will come down to OM and State for last this year...with the possible exception of A&M.

A&M hasn't finished last in a division or conference since 1971.

The last time they were tied for last in a division, they had 4 scholarship offensive linemen on campus.
