Head to head only matters if the team you beat didn't have a better record than you did. Bama was 13-1 and we were 11-2 and LSU was 10-3

We were better that day. And I think better at the end of the year.
But they had the better season and deserve their title. Roll Tide
LSU was better that day but A&M was better at the end of the year and had a better season.
