Great post. I'm sure your QB is going to have nightmares the night before the game ( I know his parents are) but keep up the good work.

LSU has great cover corners. Simon is like glue. TM7 has mad ball skills. I hope the OP realizes that we have big corners who are great at coverage, MC and Simon. Our safeties are the best in college football. I would take Reid and Taylor. Also I can't wait for some of the crossing patterns against our D. We will tee off on em just like Bama did.

BTW, Our defense gave up less yards on the ground than BAma gave to us. Significantly less.

There is a solid chance Tyler Wilson will be knocked out of the game.

I'm not saying they aren't one of the best D's in the country.. but they are not in the same planet as bama's defense. I'm sorry they just aren't.

Well pig, I guess we will just have to show you on the 25th. Maybe we will convince you then.

When we put the tail whipping on you the gumps did maybe you will change your pig mind.

It's good, but overrated. Their offense, however, may not even be good enough to be called "good".

Go ask T-Rich now that his Heisman hopes are OVER...if he thinks LSU has a good defense dipshit !!

Arky's best hope of winning depends on getting 3-6 plays of 20 yards or more ... including maybe 2 plays of 40+ yards. That was doable against last year's LSU defense. Not so easy this season. We've only given up a handful of big yardage plays in 2011—far fewer than in 2010.

This should be a tough game, but you'd be nuts not to like our chances in this one.

So LSU rushed the ball for 50% more yards than Alabama but Bama's D is better ? You are stupid.

I don't think BAMA's better up front, but the middle of their defense is light years better. BAMA's linebackers are elite, while LSU's are average to below average.

The LSU DL does its job of keeping the OL off our LBs, but the LBs still whiff regularly. If we had BAMA's LB's on our defense that would truly be scary.

If you look back at the BAMA game, the few big gains BAMA had were screen type plays (except for two or three blown coverages). We're susceptible to screens because of poor LB play. The team that played our defense perfectly was West Virginia, but not many teams can duplicate their effort because they don't have a QB and WRs talented enough to exploit that match up consistently.

Arkansas will score on us, but we should do better against them than West Virginia and Oregon because Arkansas's QB isn't as mobile.

Good enough to win championships and whip your hillbilly arse. Must suck to know arky and BP will never hold the crystal ball b/c they'll never have a defense half as good as LSU's. Also, suck my balls. We're opening -14 and will cover easily.

LSU 41 - 10, blow me.

Being a huge LSU fan, I still give a slight edge in D to Bama. Bama has the best D in college football and LSU is a close 2nd.

I'm not even saying that we are better. Both Ds are really, really good. It is insane to have two defenses like this in the same conference division.

Bamas defense is bigger and more smothering.. LSU defense is faster, more opportunistic. //thread
