great hire, just has that ability to get a team focused and ready...

his 4 and inches call the other nite was stupid on a special scale but he will be great coach for you guys as evident by your tenacious play for being undersized/out talented/no depth in 3 games that I have watched. Your kids play with heart like no other team I have seen this year...wish our Hogs had half what Freeze is getting out of them

The play call was stupid. Going for it on 4th and 1 generally works out for you.

I have been impressed with both Freeze and Sumlin. Ole miss has to play over their heads to be competitive right now and Freeze has them doing that. He will get the attention of some recruits. If he can sign the kid from south panola and talk one certain recruit to come play with his brother then he would have a much better chance of becoming great.

He seems like a pretty solid coach.. Now if he starts stating the only way he is leaving Ole Miss is in a pine box, then watch out.

When is the last time you were in Starkville?

OM and State will get their share of MS players each year regardless.

Eh. Depends on the year. Last year we were horrible and Nutt didn't recruit after July. Therefor y'all got a good majority of the top talent in the state. We're just thankful that Channing and Isaac Gross went to SP and love Ole Miss no matter who's coaching.

Serious question: does ole miss lead the country in moral victories? 3 after week 6 is pretty high.

It's always pretty evenly split though...even when one is losing and the other is winning there will still be players that just want to go to the other school. Freeze also seems to be focusing on out of state like Nutt did or he was initially, don't pay as much attention as I used to though...CJ Johnson made me realize that it is a waste of time

Truth. I think a lot of fans need to understand this a little better. Basically, in sports, especially football, shite happens. Get over it.

Definitely looks like a good hire, but I'm not ready to hand out great after running a play from the shotgun when he needed a grand total of 1 inch with a 6'4 QB.

Freeze is the best thing that has happened to Ole Miss in several years. I never thought I would say this but I actually find myself pulling Ole
Miss now.

I'm pulling for them, too.

Damn good hire. Look at this team as compared to Nutt's last two. He's doing it with the garbage Nutt left behind, as well. Once he gets his recruits in under his system, it will show how sound he his.

I think he was a hell of a hire for your school. Once he has his system in place with actual recruits he went after I think they will be back on track. **As much as it pains me to say that.**

Bu bu bu but he's a girls basketball coach

To be honest, if the man is averaging 8 wins a seasons with an occasional year where he competes for the West, then Ole Miss will have no reason to get rid of this coach.

Ummmmm, Cutcliff?
