Nutt would've been down by 50.

Freeze has been better than expected so far.

To early to tell. It all depends on how he recruits the thug POS players.

Freeze was a terrible hire and should be fired immediately. Gene Chizik is a great man and I wouldn't trade one Gene Chizik for ten Nick Sabans

Best hire that you could have made. If he pans out, and I think he is heading in the right direction, he isnt leaving for a better job. This one fell in your lap. This is the kind of team that kids want to play for. I think Mullen has done a good job but the players in state will go to Ole Miss instead of Miss State. There is no comparison between Oxford and Starkville. They could easily do what Arkansas did under Petrino.

I think it was a great hire. Ole Miss has looked so much better this year compared to last that it's really not even fair to compare the two. It also puts into perspective just how bad Nutt really was

I think he was a hell of a hire for your school. Once he has his system in place with actual recruits he went after I think they will be back on track.

**As much as it pains me to say that.**

I liked the hire after seeing his first press conference. I have been impressed with Ole Miss so far. I don't know how successful he will be, with Alabama and LSU in the division. But there will be a lot of competition for third in the division.

To be honest, if the man is averaging 8 wins a seasons with an occasional year where he competes for the West, then Ole Miss will have no reason to get rid of this coach.

He could have made a better call on 4-inchces on his side of the field. However, he had no reason to believe that A&M could stop Ole Miss.

Some times the sh1t just be's like that. I think good hire.

Short term answer: yes

Long term: time will tell, but it is looking good

So far I give him a 8/10 only because he hasn't won a game he hasn't supposed to yet. Could be less than an 8 but he has a less than average team competing on a rebuilding year.

No...he has been better than I expected but no way you can say great right now. You got blown out by texas, had 218 total yards against bama and forced 6tos at home and still lost. He has your guys playing hard which is good. I don't think his offensive system will work against the heavy weights but could make you competitive with the rest. Nutt mailed it in the last two years so whoever you hired was going to do better. I will say that he has potential and could turn out to be a great hire but not enough of a sample size yet. Like a recruiting class when signed, you don't know until 3years later if was great or not.

Agreed.

He's brought some life to Oxford, which was seriously lacking the last two years of the Nutt campaign. My concern long term is the fanbase not giving him enough time. Sure he has a pass this year, but a couple of 5-6 win seasons after this and the Rebel faithful are likely to get restless. This isn't a short term fix, and he needs the proper time to get it going in the right direction.
