If you go back about a year, this site was a part of TD. What made you join an LSU site?
I understand it no longer is, but I promise, it started out that way.

Discovered it from one of Freeks' farks' that was posted elsewhere. Lurked for a long time before I realized that if I signed up I could see all the pics and none of the cursing was filtered out. Just recently began posting though.

It has been over 5 years for me. Former co-worker who was an LSU alum told me about the site. I wanted to see what LSU fans were saying about Saban and the upcoming game with bama back in Oct 2007 so I went to tigerdroppings and joined.

been here since 2007. i didn't come to gloat over us hiring Saban. instead i came over and lurked for a little while because i had seen the site mentioned on tidesports.com. i got banned from tidesports for not drinking the crimson kool-aid and so i signed up here. at that time there was no sec rant and it was just the tiger rant.
i've always been a quiet poster and have not been one to talk smack or flame and that remains true today. i just like getting on and being able to have conversation about sports and can do so without feeling the need to flame repeatedly or be a complete arse about things.
some of these noobs need to leave about as quickly as they came in because they have really taken a great forum and turned it into a freaking jerry springer type place. there have been times where i almost decided to not come back at all.

I used to post on TideSports. I joined here before TS went to a pay site, but I didn't really post at all. I had seen some of Freek's stuff and I think that is what initially got me over here. I tried other places when TS went to a pay site, but this the best by far. frick Tidefans.

Are you sure you aren't talking about tidefans? There were posters from other fanbases on tidesports and one infamous negabammer that predicted a loss every week
