There are some great nicknames out there for some of the teams (my favorite is the "Viles"), but some of the way fans refer to their rivals is so juvenile it actually reflects worse on themselves. Post yours here...and here are some of the ones that make me shake my head:

1. "boogs". I hate when Bama fans call our rivals "boogs" or "booger eaters". Makes me feel like I'm back in grade school.

2. LSWho. That's the best we can do for a fanbase full of Cajuns? SO much material, (corndogs is a favorite), saying "LSWho" is just dumb.

3. "UAT". Isn't really an insult, just sounds envious.

4. "Ole Piss". Took all of 3 seconds to come up with that one.

5. "Gaytors" or "GayTurds". Same as above.

6. "Volunqueers". Same as above.

7. "Sips". I understand why an Aggie would find this distasteful, but it just reinforces the stereotype of A&M being the unwashed and UT being more cultured.

8. "Mildcats". Derp.

There are plenty of other ones that don't really land well (leghumpers, moo U, bammers, etc) but the ones above are the ones that really suck.

What are yours?

Anytime someone says Ole Myth I imagine a 35 year old virgin with a lisp.

It's funny you don't put any AU nicknames in there...

If you understood the history of the term you'd get it. They hate this term especially the older ones. The implication is that all the UT men stayed home during WW2 sitting on their front porch sipping tea while the Aggies were off fighting Nazis and Japs. There is some truth to this.

"Corndogs" is even dumber. Why don't you Bama fans acknowledge that an AUBURN fan (supposedly you peoples' deadly enemy) copied and pasted 'corndog' from Nebraska and Iowa message boards onto SEC boards?
It surprises me that Bama fans would actually acknowledge something that an AUBIE did, and even frolic and giggle in it as if it actually had ANYTHING at all to do with LSU.
It is actually comically embarrassing to see Bama fans stand inside their tailgates with actual cages and a corndog on string and giggling like schoolgirls like it's something momumentally funny, when it only makes them look like the buffoons they are......

Off-season thread, but what the hay:

- Anything that is a play on the name of the school or mascot is just stupid. This includes Gayturds, LSWho, AuBarn, Tennessee VolunQUEERS, Texas GAY&M, Ole Piss, etc.

- The ones that are typically good are the ones that are a little unique and have some punch - even if they don't completely make sense. These include Gumps, Stumps, Jorts, Corndogs, etc.

Ole Piss is terrible.

For our old rivals, Bailure (for Baylor, supposed to sound like failure) is downright embarrassing.

And call me a 2%er, but I do not like "tu"

"Ole Piss" just makes people sound stupid. Then again, the people saying it usually are fricking morons.

The very first nickname I listed was an auburn nickname. Idiot.

As to the corndogs, it used to make me chuckle. If that somehow results in the longwinded rant about how it came about and who "stole" it from whom, I guess that's ok. We're talking about insulting nicknames, not the future of mankind here. Most fans that are the recipients of the names think they're ALL stupid...a rather biased perspective.

The absolute best part about "Corndogs" is the reaction it gets from LSU fans. For some reason, it hits a nerve and because of that, it is hilarious...

...and they smell like corndogs.

Although I think Plainsmen is kinda neat, calling Auburn the War Eagles or War Chickens, etc. also does not make sense, as their nickname is 'Tigers.'
