The Falcons D is such a Cluster - Saban wouldn't touch that team for all the money in the world. That would be a horrible pro job. Arthur on the sidelines all the time - I don't think he would dig it. All you have to do is win the West and you play for a title. (or in some cases - just come in second in the West) No reason to leave - times are good in the SEC.

Whoa, let's not go that far. The Longhorns have a lot of money but to describe it as one of the most elite college football programs in history may be a bit much.

They are no Alabama, Southern Cal, or Notre Dame. Upper 2nd tier program, sure.

Saban to Atlanta, Kiffin bolts for Knoxville in the middle of the night after Jones is run out of town after losing to Vandy. Stoops to UF (the one from KY!) Franklin to Bama (screw PSU), Malzahn and his wife join (start) a cult and Aubies finally get Petrino, who they really wanted all along anyway (gives him a Harley dealership as a signing bonus) Grantham moves up, KY quits football, adds a roof and hard wood to their stadium for BB. Spurrier burns all his Gader visors. Miles is caught smoking Bama turf.

I like how it always comes out that Nick Saban is BFFs with whoever's in charge at the newest coaching vacancy. Oliver Luck to Texas as AD? Bros with Saban. Turns out the other guy gets the job? Also happens to be best bros with Saban. The GM in Cleveland, the big money people at Texas, now the Falcons front office, all tight with Nick Saban. I thought he was jerk that everyone hated?

Seriously? I think the Falcons can do better than Nick-fricking-Saban. I mean, Les Miles is on the hot seat and will be fired (and available) after next season. Hell, Will Muschamp will be available in January. So why would the Falcons ruin their chances at getting one of them by taking some schlub at Alabama who hasn't even won a national title in 2 years? I know you're just trolling, but at least try to do it in a way that sounds plausible.

If you've played for two national titles, and won one of them, in the last decade, you're still elite. It'll take a lot more than a few down years to change their status.

Seems legit.

Atlanta Falcons, 10+M yr, great owner to work for, elite level QB, elite WR, brand new stadium coming, some parts on roster, near the camp, chance to win a SB ring joining JJ, Barry, Pete.

About to win a Natty with his 2nd worst/7th best team in 8 years as Tide HC, about to be batting .500 in TTown in winning Nattys/per year..boring!!

Let's face it, his 2014 team, and what level of NCAA Football is currently at hand, when the NFL is raiding it for Sophs nowadays, is hurting the grade of the game, much the way NBA killed NCAA Hoops two decades ago. NCAA Football today is becoming like Single-A or Double A ball..very minor league stuff!

Saban will not go to the Falcons, He is making all the money he will ever need in Tuscaloosa, And It is established that Saban and his staff as the # 1 recruiters in collage football, I believe he stays, unless he plans on buying Jamaica or 1 of the canary islands , Or maybe he wants to buy California , Or another state, Roll Tide , And looking forward to 5 more years with Saban coaching UA. :rimshot: :rimshot: :rimshot:

Saban isn't going back to the NFL. He can't handle it. The big boys eat his lunch. Besides how does any NFL tam trust him not to sneak off in the night for another college team?
