Bingo.....but that's what antibarner always does. The guy is fricking clueless.

The refs already get set before the ball is ruled for play and they are not going to slow down for Saban. They put the extra ref out there to counter Saban's lame attempt at trying to make it about the refs too. If they were going to make the refs slow down the game they wouldn't have added another one. But keep hoping.

Saban and his buddy LOST the debate, 80% of coaches said so. All we have said is you do not need a new rule, you should change rules the right way with openness, it is NOT about player safety.

Rules change all the time, I am in favored of adding an official, the officials have always controlled pace of play. Cost us against UGA during Dye days (twice) on how different officials spot the ball.

You can always substitute, injured players have always caused a stop in play,
.
Saban looked bad about this, no sugar coating that.

That's the usual Antibarner thread. That's why no one bothers with a legit response.

There has been a LOT of discussion about the pace of the game. The NFL has officials that control it they don't speed up because a coach is jumping up and down.

The competence of the officials is in question they are under pressure on this issue and they will respond. Ergo Saban gets what he wanted all along.

The 8th official is coming to all of football some leagues use one already.

Do you have any idea what a comma is? Here I'll show you.

You have no evidence, just conjecture based on what you want, therefore shut the frick up.

The illegal play that tied it. I don't have a problem so much with the loss Auburn deserved to win. And I don't have a problem with Auburn for running the play you do what you can get away with.

I do have a problem with the officials that missed the call.

Much ado about nothing. Here is every offensive snap Auburn had during the IB. We snapped the ball one time in the entire game where the officials might not have been completely set and only 2 or 3 times under 10 seconds.

Cry me a river. First it was a legal play, linemen are allowed down field and I would be surprised if Bama does not try to change that rule next year.

Bama gets more calls than most, good teams usually do, it is the Michael Jordan effect.

And one time is one time too many. 2 or 3 times under 10 seconds? Why should that EVER happen?

That would be 4 plays...any one of which could mean the game in a tight one.
