Saban just got bitched slapped by nearly the entire college football world. Deal with it.

Yes, officials may or may not set the ball at a slightly slower pace. But not enough to matter. It won't hurt the HUNH.

Saban didn't lose, he beat himself.

maybe so, but he'll continue to lose to HUNH offenses and get his jimmies rustled since he recruits fat and slow defenders.

Even if nothing changes, he will beat them more than he loses to them, just like he does now.

Now that he has LSU firmly under control and they are no longer a threat, his recruiting is already shifting towards smaller faster defenders.

There will likely still only be one referee like there is now.

Also, it's cute that you think Alabama doesn't have the money to pay one more official. You might as well call the 8th official Saban's yes man.

My points are legit. There is legislation to allow that 8 th official right now.

When they slow down the spotting of the ball for play Saban gets exactly what he wanted to begin with.

I do not blame the HUNH coaches for jumping up and down pressuring officials and doing all they can to speed it up. That is called doing their job.

Nor do I blame Saban for doing what he can to get the pace to what is best for his team.

Get used to it. Saban did not go to Texas. And Alabama isn't going away any time soon.

I bet the extra official is just there to bring Saban a refreshing drink during time outs.

This is dumb. Keep things as they are, just get refs that are in better shape.

Big 12 already does this.

You have zero evidence to show that refs will actively try to slow the game. You essentially just jacked yourself off for a few paragraphs and then, when finished, whispered that it will all be ok.
