Son, the first thing you need to learn if you're gonna come on here and play with the grownups is to cultivate a thick skin, then you're gonna have to let those little seeds that you are carrying around in your stomach, drop into your nutsack (scrotum). After that you need to practice what I told you in my previous post (never let your mouth write a check that your arse can't cash). Once you've gotten all that done, get back to me for your second lesson....run along now
He took a jab at LSU you senile bastard.
Reading comprehension trumps cashing check on the internet

None of that shite is pertinent to this conversation. You're dumb and old and there's really no evidence to dispute that anywhere in your post history.

There is more:
quote:
I think Washington State coach Mike Leach best summed up the feelings of many FBS coaches.
“The thing that's most shameful about this is it's a clear manipulation through self-interest by people who don't want to coach within the parameters where strategy and ingenuity has taken the game," Leach told SI. "So now they want to manipulate the rules, and in needing an excuse to do this, they try to hide behind player safety. It's ridiculous.”
I agree, Coach. Ridiculous, self-serving and hypocritical.

The only "elite" defense that continues to struggle with the HUNH is Alabama's. Stanford does well against it, even with inferior athletes. Saban has never been an elite schemer.
You mean the Stanford that almost blew a 26-0 4th quarter lead this year?

It wasn't even a jab just a fact.

Yep, everybody says....
How he leads the league in total defense every year is truly baffling.

Oh no, we took away your competitive advantage. Looks like you may need an actual football coach now.

I'm sure that you thought you had a point there. That same Oregon team probably would have put 50+ on Alabama, considering how poorly they performed against A&M and Oklahoma. I would put Auburn in there, but Auburn didn't really run the HUNH against Alabama.

And there seems to be nothing anyone can do to stop Saban. That guy runs CFB.

It's not really baffling. He recruits more talented players that everyone he plays against, and they are coached to play their position well. That doesn't work in the NFL, as there is too much parity. Hence why he was mediocre there.

You're either a terrible troll, or Harvey Updyke.

Well, I guess that life in the big city.

I actually agree with this part. Call the proposal what it is which is the closing of a loophole in the current rules that allows chickenshits the ability to gain an advantage by not allowing defenses the time to put itself in position.

Lots of gump jimmie rustling in here.
.....and yes, saban is a coward. If you can't compete with it, get the rules changed.

He also fails to point out that these clock rules were put in place to help hurry up teams in 2008.
