I feel like this is your typical sec rant troll fest, but I'll bite. You could barely move the ball on us in 2009 (inferior talent), 10, or 11. For the championship game, you still couldn't score a touchdown until the our defense was completely gassed from being on the field the entire game. 2012 is a wash, as the second half we owned your arse with the exception of the last play. I'll give you last year, but congrats I guess because our defense was pretty atrocious (welter ). Your wins against us basically come from our previously inept offense, not our defense...damnit back to studying

You're really looking at a DC's record vs. a head coaches without any regard to offensive production?

It's fricking retarded. Apples to oranges.

Why do I need to elaborate?

Sure, why not. People look at HCs records against particular schools over the course of multiple coaching staffs, so when a HC averages 26 pts a game against what some say is the best DC in the conference and owns a 8-3 record against his defenses, it is worth mentioning in the offseason.

so when a HC averages 26 pts

except we all no Saban doesn't call the offense except for FG attempts

Or look at this way

07 41pts

08 29pts

09 24pts

10 21pts

11 6pts (anomaly)

12 21pts

12 21pts

13 38pts

The 2011 anomaly is the only time a Chavis defense has held a Saban team to less than 21pts since at least 07. I didnt feel like going further back.

Pretty impressive.

If we are just evaluating Chavis vs Bama...okay fine then. There have been a few calls in Bama games Id like him to take back. But damn, the resume as a whole since he has been at LSU? Very impressive. Almost any team in the country would love to have him. Our D has been more successful vs Saban more than many many teams. Overall, the guy imo opinion has done a great job vs you guys considering our O issues we have had minus last year. He is going to have SEC offenses crying like little babies this season and I can't fn wait. All hail the Chief

Of course. But this isnt about LSU per se, but about Saban vs Chavis. Chavis has coached at Tennessee but i dont see any tennessee fans saying this is about them?

You want to discuss this or just throw out your little one liners?
