DeLoss Dodd's not in the Empire business, he's in the money business. That's why Mack's still their coach, and why they won't hire Saban

What it means is, Bama will have to make Saban the first $10 million per year college coach.

It means that Texas wants Saban.....or at least their fans do. Bama had better be ready to break out their checkbook if they want to keep him. I know that the Big 12 is an inferior conference, but t.u. has DEEP pockets.

Not necessarily broke, but t.u. has the deepest pockets in the country. Not sure if Saban's in it strictly for the money, but you really don' t want to get into a bidding war with them.

we'd sell children. They don't want any part of gumps with money and resources. Ask Auburn.

It doesn't matter how much money Texas has. They aren't going to offer more than Alabama is willing to match.

165.8 billion USD (2007)
Alabama, Gross domestic product

1.142 trillion USD (2007)
Texas, Gross domestic product

Why do silly Bama fans think they're the best at everything??
