No way that's the last we see of him.

We'll probably see him in the FAU game. That's it unless Marshsall gets hurt.

But how effective will Marshall be with a partially torn patellar tendon? If he can't be effective running the ball, it might not be nick's team for very long.

pretty sure your game plan needs to be to slow down the game and limit JFF's touches

How did Johnson look against WCU?
Pretty good. I would be worried about his future as a QB if he didn't

If he is hurt or gets hurt worse, JJ plays.

However if Nick is healthy he is our guy and the only time JJ sees the field is backup duty or if Gus gets creative in a trick play which I doubt happens much if at all.

We don't know how hurt he is and unless I have missed it, no coach has stated how bad he was hurt

If he is not ready, we see JJ. But if Gus thinks he is healthy enough, I believes we play Nick. More experience is a big deal.

I am sure it will be. We will go up tempo when we are moving the chains, but it will be with a healthy dose of Mason, CAP, and Grant. Especially Mason up the middle.

Could this be a ploy to have A&M gameplan around NM, only to have JJ start?

Yep. I believe we will see JJ in games throughout the season.

Exactly! We haven't seen the last of JJ this season. I would not be surprised to see JJ in the A&M game.

Agree. He will probably get snaps in every game. But nick stays the starter for now.

The only thing that concerned me about JJ's performance Saturday was running the ball. He did not look comfortable running it.

NM allegedly practiced at full speed today. JJ might get a package of plays designed for him. NM is the starter. NM was available Saturday for emergency duty (ie Arky v. Samford).

More like Jason. He was throwing it pretty good. Didn't run very much but didn't have to.

I was at the game. He was very accurate passing the ball and was comfortable running the offense. I liked what I saw

But it was a Div 2 bad team.

Could be because the coaches cautioned him on running so there was no chance for injury against a FCS team. He didn't need to run. I assume he was second guessing what comes naturally in that situation, which is why he looked uncomfortable. All speculation on my part of course.

Good game to break him in.
