But the criteria states that it looked at the prior 15 years.

If someone put all of these "rivalry" games of the last 15 years in a hat and you picked one at random - would you hope to grab an Alabama-LSU game or an Ole Miss-MSU game?

Using that criteria (which, as its inventor, I think is a perfect barometer), UGA-Auburn should be somewhere on there.

Georgia, pick one freakin rival and combine all your hatred for them and then maybe you can make such a prestigious offseason list.

when you trade punches with other big time programs for the better part of a century, some hate gets generated

GT is our main rival, and wouldn't have surprised me if it made the list. Auburn and Florida have more intense rivalries with Alabama and FSU, respectively, which makes sense. But I think they would have UGA as a pretty close second, and the intensity of the games reflect that.

Just because they've both had success recently doesn't mean it's a rivalry. There has to be some animosity between the fanbases. LSU and Bama don't have that towards each other

If that is their reasoning - where is UGA-AU and UGA-FL? LSU-Alabama made the list without animosity, and it exists in spades between us and AU/Florida.

I know it makes me sound like a whiner, but it's an oversight on their part. That's all I'm sayin.

I think Georgia didn't make the list because they have too many rivals.

100% agreed. I feel like every game UGA plays is some deep seeded rivalry game.

I'd say UGA has just managed to get every team to hate them somehow. Impressive, I admit.

Apparently NFL.com only looks at the last 15 years, much like LSU fans.

Unlike Vol fans who only look to next year?
