Maybe. If so, I still claim it.

and landon collins is a terrible pass defender. Strictly a run stopper and tackler. Constantly out of position when playing one or 2 deep coverages

Thinking about it, this guy is probably right. But holy shite this is a stupid article. First, it wouldn't be THAT big of a deal for Auburn(of all teams) to have more guys drafted on defense in a random, and rare, year. Alabama usually has a very good defense, but occasionally other teams will have more draft picks.........?

Then to make it worse, dude says all this like he has some earth shattering information, while naming one fricking Auburn player. What a loser.

I buy it. Most of Bama's best talent on D isn't draft eligible. Jon Allen, A'Shawn Robinson, Tony Brown, Marlon Humphrey, Da'Shawn Hand, etc

really giving it to Reuben Foster. He basically said that he should change positions and play fullback for Alabama, because he doesn't have the hips or fluidity for linebacker.

This may be true. Reub is a good athlete, and when he can just blitz or come down hill against the run he could probably make a lot of plays. But he can't play in space at all, and right now I'm not sure he's a sideline-to-sideline backer.

Of course it will. The Aubie circle jerk alone ensures it.

Now if you want to talk about Auburn's offensive NFL prospects...

The Rams drafted two turds that can't see the field on a horsehit team.

Tre Mason can't pass block to save his life. Hence a weekly inactive.

And #2 overall Greg Robinson is as dumb as a fricking box of rocks and can't pass block either.

It's only a matter of time until NFL draft evaluators start devaluing Gus' offensive prospects.

If this were true, those same NFL scout would have started to devalue Alabama defensive prospects several years ago. Alabama has probably had 8 or 10 defensive players drafted in the first round under Saban and those players have combined for a grand total of zero Pro Bowls so far. If you have that many first round draft picks, you would think at least 1 of them would make at least 1 Pro Bowl

Maybe those NFL scouts don't know shite then, eh? Including TT's anonymous NFL scout.

RF may become what he is projected to be but I still remember him in High School against Carver Mont. running around looking lost. He had poor lateral movement, etc…I kept thinking this is the best High School player in the country? He wasn't even in the top 6 on the field that night.

Coming? They already came, all over Bama's face and never called them again.

After watching their last two games I think Jarran Reed is pretty good. I'd take him 3rd round.

I've wondered the same thing. Hardly any of the techniques they use or schemes that they run are NFL applications. These kids are going to have to relearn the basics before they'll be of any NFL value.

Meh.

Let's see it on the field. As far as Auburn's defense goes, I haven't seen them play good defense in almost a decade.

He is probbaly right, but not because Auburns defense is better this year. I promise you Bamas defense will end up being top 10 nationally by the end of the year and Auburns won't be close to that. When you get gutted by the draft every year you end up with some young teams. Bama has future nfl players all over the defensive roster, most of them are just too young to be drafted. That said Collins and DePriest will both be off the board by the third round next April and we return everyone else on defense except Ivory who may be the most underwhelming NG of the Saban era. 2015 defense should be sick and this defense is only going to get better with more experience.
